Balmforth to return?

The 21-year-old made his come-back from a hamstring injury for the reserves at Warrington last Friday and is pushing for a spot in John Cartwright's side to take on Rovers.

The two sides meet at the MKM with Balmforth competing with Logan Moy for a place in the team who managed a seventh victory from their opening ten games this year with a 28-16 triumph at Warrington.

The Black and Whites are without Harvey Barron (hamstring), Ligi Sao (knee), Jed Cartwright (hamstring), Jordan Lane (arm), Oliver Holmes (knee), Brad Fash (calf), Ryan Westerman (ankle), and Roman Dawson (ACL).

Cartwright confirmed none of his injured stars are set to return, with Balmforth, who played in the loose-forward position, pushing to play.
