Top Court Pulls Up Telangana CM on Bypoll Remark

The Supreme Court on Thursday took strong exception to Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy's remarks in the state assembly on the disqualification of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) legislators who defected to the ruling Congress, questioning whether it had erred in previously letting him off the hook in a contempt case.
A bench of justices Bhushan R Gavai and A G Masih rebuked Reddy for commenting on a matter sub judice before the top court. The bench made these remarks while reserving its verdict on the petitions concern
