PROBE PANEL FILES REPORT IN JHANSI FIRE; ACTION TO BE TAKEN SOON: DY CM

A four-member panel set up to probe the fire that broke out at Jhansi's Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, in which several newborns were killed, has submitted its report to deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, who also holds the medical education portfolio.
The report has pointed towards individuals/staff responsible for the incident and the shortcomings, officials aware of the development said.
Confirming the same, Pathak said: "The report [on the fire accident] has been submitted. We will take action tomorrow (Wednesday) on the basis of the report's findings."
