Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aircraft, a Boeing business jet, was on Friday hit by a technical snag in Deoghar district of Jharkhand, delaying his return to the national capital, people aware of the matter said.

A stand-by aircraft, a Boeing business jet, immediately took off from Delhi to bring the Prime Minister back from Jharkhand, the people said.
