Court rejects Sharjeel Imam's bail petition

A Delhi court on Saturday denied statutory bail to Sharjeel Imam in a sedition case filed against him for making inflammatory speeches at various places in New Delhi during the protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act while observing that the acts committed by him can be termed as seditious if considered as per normal dictionary meaning.
