Hindustan Times

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday said it had attached properties worth ₹538 crore linked to Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, members of his family and the now-defunct airline in connection with its money laundering probe.
-
The assets seized include 17 residential and commercial properties in London, Dubai and several Indian states that were registered in the names of various companies and people, including Goyal, his wife and son.
The agency had on Tuesday filed a charge sheet against Goyal in its probe against Jet Airways under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The probe is based on an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that Jet Airways siphoned off loans worth ₹538 crore from a consortium of banks led by State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank.
Goyal has been in judicial custody since September when the ED arrested him.
