A Boeing 737 MAX 8 passenger plane en route from Denver to Los Angeles in the US was diverted after space debris reportedly struck and shattered its cockpit windshield midfligh, according to reports from aviationa2z.

The incident also resulted in injuries to the pilot, according to airlive.
The incident took place on October 16 on United Airlines flight UA1093, carrying 140 passengers and crew, when the crew noticed that the windshield was cracked. At the time, the plane was at an altitude of 36,000 feet.
