Two Minors Raped in West Champaran Distt

A minor girl belonging to Chapra district was allegedly raped by a sadhu (Priest) in connivance with a co-villager for days at a place after she wandered from her native place and reached Bettiah bus stand in Bihar's West Champaran last month, police said on Thursday.

The matter came to the fore after a police patrolling party spotted the girl wandering on the street near Nawalpur in West Champaran on Wednesday midnight.
Providing details, Rajnishkant Priyadarshi, sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) of Sadar-2, said the girl, originally from Chhapra, had wandered from home to Muzaffarpur, where she stayed at the Garibnath temple. Later, while trying to return home, she boarded a bus but got lost and ended up at the Bettiah bus stand on January 23 or 24.
