SVU Showcases India's Armed Forces' Valour

The Indian Army on Friday held "Shaurya Vedanam Utsav (SVU)" at Gandhi Maidan in East Champaran district, which was inaugurated by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and Member of Parliament and chairman, parliamentary standing committee on defence, Radha Mohan Singh.

The SVU event was strategically held in a border area near the Indo-Nepal frontier to instill a sense of patriotism, particularly among the youth. This is the first such event in recent times in Bihar.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor paid tribute to the gallant soldiers who laid down their lives defending the nation. Radha Mohan Singh expressed his satisfaction that such an event could be held in Motihari, stressing that it would play a crucial role in motivating the youth to join the Indian Armed Forces.
The two-day event, attended by students, NCC cadets, and citizens from across Champaran, aimed to strengthen the bond between civil society and the armed forces while inspiring young individuals to serve in the military.
