Protests in Seemanchal over Bangladesh lynching

The Seemanchal region that borders Bangladesh on Tuesday saw protests in its various districts against the killing and persecution of Hindus in the neighbouring country.
Protesters demanded intervention of the Indian government to prevent excesses against Hindus after the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina government in August 2024.
