Nitish Vows Job to Son, Hosp, Road, Memorial for Martyred BSF Officer

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday visited martyred BSF sub-inspector Mohammad Imtiyaz's ancestral home in Saran district and announced that the road from Imtiyaz's village, Chintamanganj, to Rahampur Bazar area in the district will be named after him.

PATNA: Besides, the CM said, a hospital will be built in his memory and his younger son will be given a government job. The CM also handed over a cheque of ₹50 lakh to the family of the martyr.

Imtiyaz lost his life in the line of duty in the cross-border shelling by Pakistan at the RS Pura sector along the International Boundary.
