BARMER: A man, who was acquitted by a sessions court in Balotra in connection with a 2016 death case, has been slapped with a fine of ₹10 lakh and a social boycott has been imposed on him by a caste panchayat at Jalore district in Rajasthan, people aware of the development said on Monday.
The punishment has left the man, Heeraram, a resident of Bhorada village, and his family socially ostracized, they added.
