Two dead in PoJK in protest against Pakistan over rights

Protest leaders argue that Pakistan must not treat PoJK as a colony or an occupied territory, insisting instead on the rights of its people to protest, participate in decision-making, and determine their own political future.

Demonstrations and rallies have erupted across Mirpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad. In Muzaffarabad, police reportedly opened fire on protesters, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuring more than 22.
