GOVT IS PLANNING TO SEND EIGHT GROUPS TO VISIT VARIOUS REGIONS, ESPECIALLY INDIA'S STRATEGIC ALLIES
NEW DELHI: The Congress will participate in the government's diplomatic outreach to articulate India's point of view on the Pahalgam terror attack and subsequent armed conflict with Pakistan, the party said on Friday.
People familiar with the matter said that the government plans to send teams of political leaders, former diplomats and experts to countries in key regions of the world to press India's case.
The government has been sounding out political leaders and parliamentarians from across the political spectrum, former diplomats who have handled relations with Pakistan, and representatives of think tanks and other bodies on the planned diplomatic outreach over the past few days, the people cited above said on anonymity.
