Canada should take responsibility: MEA on Indian-origin man's death

India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday reacted to the death of Prashant Sreekumar, 44, an Indian-origin man in Canada, due to medical negligence while waiting for treatment at a hospital, saying the Canadian government should take responsibility in the matter.
Prashant died of suspected cardiac arrest after waiting for more than eight hours for treatment in a Canadian hospital's emergency room area, Canadian media reported.
