Hindustan Times Patna
|July 10, 2025
Union minister of state for rural development Kamlesh Paswan assured that the Centre was ready to release funds for the construction of 45,000 km of rural roads in Bihar under the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), valued at ₹76,000 crore, as soon as the state government submitted its survey report.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Paswan emphasised the urgency of the survey, noting that Jammu and Kashmir, having already submitted its report, received funds promptly. “The sooner Bihar sends its survey, the sooner we will release the funds,” he said.
