Buddha Museum, Stupa in Vaishali to be unveiled in July-end

The newly-constructed Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum and Memorial Stupa in Vaishali would be inaugurated in the last week of July in presence of Buddhist monks from 15 Buddhist countries at the event, said a press statement issued by the information and public relations department (IPRD) on Sunday.

The Buddhist monks to attend the event in Vaishali would come from different countries like Japan, Sri Lanka Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia and other nations.

The museum and memorial Stupa, constructed at a cost of ₹550.48 crore and spread over 72 acres of land, has been developed near the Pushkarni lake and Mand stupa.
