The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted an eight-week extension to a special investigation team (SIT) of the Uttar Pradesh Police probing alleged illegal payouts by Noida Authority officials through inflated land compensation.
The court passed the order after reviewing a sealed status report, noting the probe had identified 12 public servants suspected of involvement.
