Last Year, at Least 20 Students Died by Suicide in Kota, and 27 Such Incidents Were Recorded in 2023
JAIPUR: Two students, one preparing for the National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) to get into medical school and the other for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) to join an engineering college, died by suicide in a span of three hours in Kota district in Rajasthan on Wednesday, taking the toll of such cases in the area to six this year, officials said.
Last year, at least 20 students died by suicide in Kota, and 27 such incidents were recorded in 2023.
