PUNE: Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday said defence minister Rajnath Singh and home minister Amit Shah showed "maturity" by acknowledging lapses in security during the recent Pahalgam terror attack, where local officials were unaware tourists had been taken to Baisaran without clearance.
Speaking at Saswad near Pune on Sunday, Pawar stressed that the priority must now be to rebuild public trust rather than engage in political blame. He added that moments like these require unity across party lines.
Pawar noted that people across Kashmir, both Hindus and Muslims, condemned the attack, reaffirming their commitment to India's unity.
