LUDHIANA: In an unprecedented move, mayor Inderjit Kaur ordered all municipal officials to leave the Finance and Contract Committee (F&CC) meeting, leaving only elected representatives to review key proposals behind closed doors, on Wednesday.
MC commissioner, mayor, senior deputy mayor and deputy mayor were present. The F&CC meeting was held at the mayor's house near Rose Garden, with an agenda listing 160 proposals related to municipal governance.
