Veteran Tamil filmmaker and actor K Bhagyaraj died in Chennai on Saturday following a cardiac arrest. He was 73.
Dubbed as the ‘King of Screenplays’, Bhagyaraj’s first film was the block buster ‘Suvarilladha Chiththirangal’ in 1979. He went on to make several hits including ‘Mundhanai Mudichu’, ‘Andha 7 Naatkal’, ‘Darling, Darling, Darling’, ‘Indru Poi Nalai Va’, among many others. He has directed more than 25 films and acted in over 75 films.
