CHANDIGARH: Punjab continued to be on the edge due to the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan with at least 14 out of 23 districts observing complete blackout on Friday, officials said. Meanwhile, malls, shopping complexes and markets were shut down after sunset in neighbouring Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.

According to officials, the complete blackout was reported by sundown in six border districts of Ferozepur, Fazilka, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran and Pathankot, while sudden blackout was enforced in Muktsar, Faridkot, Moga, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Rupnagar, Sangrur and Hoshiarpur.
