BJP Expedites Process To Elect New U.P. Unit Chief

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set the process rolling to elect its new Uttar Pradesh unit chief as the nomination process for election of district presidents of the party will be completed on Friday.
LUCKNOW:
Party's national general secretary Vinod Tawde, BJP's national observer of the party's ongoing organisational polls of the party, was also in the state capital for two days to take feedback on the polls from party leaders. During his stay, Tawde met chief minister Yogi Adityanath, deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and other leaders of the party to discuss the new state BJP chief.

2 'agents' of hawala network that supplied funds arrested

The probe into the Red Fort blast case has revealed that the driver of the car that exploded, Dr Umar un-Nabi, was in a mobile phone shop in Faridabad with at least two mobile phones around 11 days before the attack, according to new CCTV footage accessed by the investigating agencies, Delhi Police said.
