After Crackdown, ‘Not a Single Beggar Spotted at Places Visited’

Anti-social elements who attacked the rescue team of the district administration engaged in the crackdown on beggary on Monday evening has given further impetus to officials to eliminate the crime syndicate involved in pushing children into beggary.
LUCKNOW:
District magistrate Visakh G on Tuesday inspected ITMS and Safe City Control Room and observed the live feed of Bangla Bazar, Arjunganj, Telibagh and other intersections and took stock of the action being taken by the monitoring teams.
The district magistrate directed that the persons encouraging child beggary should be identified through ITMS and action should be ensured against them by informing the teams deployed in the field.
