6 of family hospitalised; relative accused of lacing food with poison: Police

THE FAMILY HAS ACCUSED ONE OF ITS MEMBERS OF LACING THEIR LUNCH WITH POISON OVER A DOMESTIC DISPUTE
Officials said that the family of Umakanta Ojha, residing in Ojhasahi area of the district, were hospitalised on Friday after members of the family began vomiting and showed signs of nausea shortly after having lunch.
Hospital officials said that the condition of the six victims is stable. “We are doing blood and stool tests of the patients to confirm poisoning,” a doctor at the hospital said on anonymity.
