Three Terrorists Gunned Down During Encounter in Pulwama

SRINAGAR: Security Forces, in a joint operation on Thursday, gunned down three terrorists in Awantipora's Tral area during a gunfight in Nader village.

The army has identified the terrorists as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani and Yawar Ahmed Bhat, from whom three AK-series rifles, twelve magazines, three grenades and various other war-like stores have been recovered.

This was the second encounter in south Kashmir in the last 48 hours. On Tuesday, the forces had neutralised three local Lashkar-e-Taiba and TRF terrorists, including the operational commander of LeT.
