Dotasra flags internal discord for Cong’s losses in state polls

Addressing a meeting of party workers in Dungarpur, Dotasra emphasised that despite the electoral setback, the Congress remains a strong force across the state and the country.

“Congress was never weak—we are strong everywhere. But we lost the election due toa lack of coordination among our leaders,” he said, adding that internal divisions and factionalism among the party leaders led to confusion and lack of unity on the ground.

While praising the performance of the former Gehlot government, Dotasra said, “The Gehlot government performed exceptionally well, but we must introspect and accept where we failed.”

He asserted that once internal fragmentation ends, “no one will be able to stop Congress from winning again.”

Calling for more direct public engagement, Dotasra told leaders on the stage, “We are sitting here today because of the strength of Congress workers. Now it is our turn to rise and lead people’s movements. Only those who work for the Congress and think about its future will remain in the party.”
