PWD to repair G20 Summit fountains

The Public Works Department (PWD) has begun the process of repairing fountains that were installed across Delhi ahead of the G20 Summit in September 2023, officials said on Thursday, adding that the exercise will likely be completed within a month.
NEW DELHI:
These fountains were lying defunct after their parts were stolen, officials said. Officials were instructed to take up urgent maintenance work in a meeting last week with PWD minister Parvesh Verma.
