GMDA commissions study to solve Ggm's waterlogging woes

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has commissioned a study to find a permanent solution to the city's recurring waterlogging problem, particularly during the monsoon season.
GURUGRAM:
The study, which will be conducted by a consultant agency, will focus on analysing the existing drainage network and proposing long-term measures for the issue.
A senior GMDA official stated that the consultant will evaluate the capacities of various drains and cross-drainage systems in the city, including those along NH 48, Pataudi Road, and the Delhi Rewari Railway line, as well as the final disposal system through Najafgarh drain.
