Cultural heritage in focus as states ready R-Day tableaux

As the countdown to Republic Day intensifies, the grand parade at Kartavya Path on January 26 will feature a compelling mix of 18 marching contingents, 15 bands, and 31 tableaux from states, union territories, ministries, and the armed forces.

Andhra Pradesh, for the third consecutive year, will feature a tableau that celebrates the state's rich cultural heritage. This year's theme, "Etikoppaka Bommalu-Eco-Friendly Wooden Toys," will showcase the craftsmanship of local artisans who create these traditional toys.
