2-Day Power Outage Sparks Outcry From Sec 99-102 Dwellers

A severe power outage along the stretch from Dhankot Chowk to Kherki Majra has allegedly left residents and shopkeepers in Gurugram's Sectors 99 and 102 without electricity for over two days, sparking frustration amid rising summer temperatures.
GURUGRAM: The outage, which began on May 25 following rainfall and thunderstorms, has yet to be resolved, despite repeated assurances from the electricity department, locals claim.
"There is absolutely no urgency being shown by the officials. It's shocking that the fault locator wasn't even available yesterday, despite telling us otherwise," said Sunil Sareen, vice president of the Imperial Gardens Condominium Association and member of DXP-GDA. "This stretch houses many residential societies, schools, and shops that are suffering badly," he added.
