SILCHAR: Two men have been arrested for raping a 26-year-old woman from Assam's Hailakandi district after they dragged her inside a train coach at Lala Bazar station, police officers said on Saturday, adding that they were produced before a magistrate on Saturday evening.
The incident took place on Thursday when the woman, who belongs to the tea tribe community, went to the station with a male relative, who was also allegedly assaulted and threatened by the accused.
