NEW DELHI: The interim bail plea filed by former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Mohammad Tahir Hussain in cases related to the 2020 Delhi riots will now be decided by a third judge or a three-judge bench after a two-judge bench delivered a split verdict.
The matter has been referred to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna who will either assign the matter to a third judge or constitute a larger bench.
