Report: China ramps up missile production to deter US in any war

China is rapidly expanding its missile production sites as part of its plan to deter the US military in any conflict in the Asia Pacific region, a CNN analysis of satellite images and maps has revealed.
DF-61 missiles being displayed to mark 80 years since Japan's defeat in WWII at an event in Beijing, China on Sept 3.

As per the analysis, more than 60% of 136 facilities related to missile production or the military's rocket force, which controls China's nuclear weapons, showed signs of expansion in satellite images.
