Delhi NGO founder alleges she was harassed during Uber ride

The founder of the Delhi-based environmental NGO Chintan was allegedly harassed and physically assaulted by her Uber driver while travelling from Vasant Vihar to a doctor's clinic in Sarvodaya Enclave.
The incident, which Bharati Chaturvedi detailed in a social media post and a subsequent email to the Delhi Police commissioner, involved the driver refusing to follow her route instructions, accelerating the vehicle against her will, and ultimately twisting her arm violently.The altercation began when the cab's pin stopped incorrectly near Essex Farms. Chaturvedi requested the driver go to her actual destination.
