Couple kills man for alleged stalking, held

A 37-year-old man and his 24-year-old wife have been arrested for allegedly murdering the woman's 32-year-old distant relative in a forested area of south Delhi's Maidangarhi early Monday.
NEW DELHI: Police said the man was bludgeoned with an iron rod after he pressured the woman to leave her husband and four children to be with him.
After the murder, the couple allegedly dragged the body to a nearby pond, dumped it in a pit, and covered it with leaves and branches. They also disposed of the murder weapon, the victim's phone and chequebook in the bushes before fleeing, said DCP (South) Ankit Singh.
