Actor Navya Nair recently found herself in trouble at Melbourne Airport after being fined AUD 1,980 (₹1.14 lakh) for carrying an undeclared jasmine gajra.
She has now written to the Australian Agricultural Department, requesting them to revoke the penalty, saying that the violation was unintentional.
