LUCKY APPOINTED AS ART, CULTURE COMMITTEE CHIEF

More than a week after Chandigarh member of Parliament Manish Tewari resigned from the post, HS Lucky, president of the Chandigarh Pradesh Congress Committee has been appointed as chairman of the Art, Culture, Tourism and Heritage Preservation Committee on Thursday.
HS Lucky expressed gratitude to the Punjab governor and UT administrator, Gulab Chand Kataria for his appointment. Lucky also thanked MP Tewari for recommending his name in his place.
He said, “This noble act by MP Tewari has greatly enhanced his stature in the eyes of party workers and leaders alike. He has set a remarkable example of how personal positions can be willingly given up to uphold the larger ideals of the party and to restore its glory.”
