INDIA‘S SEAFOOD EXPORTS RISE 12% TO $4.69 BILLION DESPITE US TARIFF BARRIER

India’s seafood exports saw 11.66% increase to $4.69 billion in the first seven months of 2025-26 from $4.20 billion in April-October of 2024-25 despite huge US tariff barrier as Indian exporters have successfully diversified shipments to the European Union, Vietnam, China and Russia, as per the latest government data.
Even as India’s seafood exports to the US fell by little over 5% to $1.49 billion in April-October 2025 as compared to $1.57 billion in the same period last year, its shipments of marine products to Vietnam saw over 103.5% jump to $346 million in April-October 2025 as compared to $170 million.
