NEW DELHI:

Jaishankar, who visited the UK and Ireland during March 4-9, also reiterated the "need to expeditiously bring to justice the perpetrators of attacks on" the Indian high commission in London, the external affairs ministry said on Monday.

These matters were specifically raised by Jaishankar at a meeting with British home secretary Yvette Cooper on March 4, and he also discussed joint efforts to combat trafficking and extremism, and strengthen bilateral cooperation on talent mobility and people-to-people exchanges.

Jaishankar "brought up the safety and security of our missions/posts and diplomats and reiterated the need to expeditiously bring to justice the perpetrators of attacks on the premises" of the high commission in London, the statement said. He "emphasised the need to address the growing concerns over the increasing anti-India activities" of pro-Khalistan elements.
