Further Scrutiny on For 'Janaki v/s State of Kerala' Film: CBFC to HC

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Wednesday informed the Kerala high court that the film "JSK - Janaki v/s State of Kerala" starring actor Suresh Gopi has been referred to its revising committee for further scrutiny and that a decision on its approval will be taken by Thursday.
KOCHI:
The bench of justice N Nagaresh ordered that the decision of the revising committee be presented by June 27.
The CBFC's response came on a plea filed by Cosmos Entertainments, the producer of the film, before the high court, pleading for a direction to issue a timely censor certificate for the film scheduled for release on June 27.
