BJP Raises Queries Over Sisodia's Loan in Election Affidavit

Member of Parliament (MP) Bansuri Swaraj and Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) president Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday raised questions about former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia's loan disclosures in his election affidavit.
NEW DELHI:
The two party leaders, during a joint press conference, sought clarification from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) regarding Sisodia's "abnormal" income and the sources of loans during 2020 to 2024.
"We are just trying to understand how the income of a retired income tax officer and a chief minister could be lower than the per capita income of Delhi residents. Then our attention was drawn to the affidavit of Sisodia, which raises numerous questions regarding his debt figures," Sachdeva said.
