NAGPUR:

The development came on a day authorities lifted or relaxed curfew in several parts of Nagpur, where large-scale violence erupted March 17 amid rumours that the holy book of the Muslim community was burnt during an agitation by Hindu right-wing outfits for the removal of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's grave from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.

The cyber crime department of the Nagpur Police has asked for information from various social media intermediaries like Facebook, X, Instagram and YouTube about 230 profiles on their platforms and sought that they be blocked, DCP Cyber Crime Lohit Matani told reporters.
