A 55-year-old man who set himself ablaze after police detained his son and brother in the ongoing probe into the “white-collar” terror module died of burn injuries at Srinagar’s Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital early on Monday, officials said.
Bilal Ahmad Wani, a dry-fruit seller from Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, reportedly attempted self-immolation on Saturday shortly after Jammu & Kashmir Police picked up his son, Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish, and his brother, Naveed Wani, for questioning.
