Inclined to Stay CAG Audit of Ajmer Dargah Accounts: HC

The Delhi high court on Monday said it is inclined to stay the Comptroller and Auditor General's (CAG) audit of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, coming down hard on the apex audit body for initiating the process without following the proper procedure.
NEW DELHI:
Hearing a plea filed by the Dargah management committee challenging the CAG's decision to audit the accounts of the popular Muslim shrine, Justice Sachin Datta noted that the petitioner has not been served with the terms of the audit.
