COURT REPORTER
-
A serial offender has been jailed for 13 months after a neighbour spotted him carrying a machete in the street late at night.
Thomas McInally claimed to suffer panic attacks after being the victim of a serious assault, but offered no explanation for having the blade.
Hamilton Sheriff Court, pictured, heard the incident happened in McCulloch Avenue, Viewpark, on February 25 this year.
McInally, 40, appeared from custody and admitted carrying a bladed item in public without reasonable excuse.
