Forbes meets team dishing out £700,000 Holyrood cash

The Deputy First Minister paid a visit to Hamilton, meeting staff at the social enterprise administering a new round of Scottish Government funding for entrepreneurial organisations.

Kate Forbes toured the premises of Inspirent at Barncluith Business Centre with newly-appointed chief entrepreneur Ana Stewart as they discussed the launch of this year's £700,000 ecosystem fund.

Inspirent is the delivery partner for the programme, which is moving on to a fully-digitised application process and "is focused on developing the strength and impact of Scotland's start-up community by funding organisations and programmes that support new companies to start and grow."
