UAE to invest $1.4tr in US over 10 years

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday said the UAE planned to invest $1.4 trillion in the United States over 10 years, lauding a “strong partnership” that flourished under US President Donald Trump.

Sheikh Mohamed announced the “UAE's plan to invest $1.4 trillion in the United States... over the next 10 years,” in fields including technology, artificial intelligence and energy, speaking from the presidential palace in Abu Dhabi alongside Trump.
The announcement came during his meeting with the US President Donald Trump at Qasr Al Watan on Thursday.
The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, focusing on developments in the Middle East, most notably the efforts being made to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and contain the escalation in the region, which threatens its security and stability.
Sheikh Mohamed stressed the importance of continuing these efforts and advancing them towards a political path to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace based on the “two-state solution,” which guarantees security and stability for people of the region.
