SEWA completes Houshi power transmission station

Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) has announced the commencement of operations at Al Houshi Power Transmission Station with a voltage of 33/11 kilovolts, at a total cost of Dhs83 million.

The station will significantly enhance and develop the emirate’s transmission and distribution networks in the Emirate of Sharjah, providing high-quality services to residents of Al-Houshi and surrounding areas.
Eng.Hameed Al Teneiji, Director of Power Transmission at SEWA, stated that the station was completed, connected to the grid, and commissioned in accordance with the highest safety and security standards, adding that it is equipped with advanced systems to ensure quality, efficiency, and in line with the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Moham-med Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
